Early Child Development
An excellent site subtitled 'The ABC's of ECD'. It includes development stages and links to journals and reports. As the World Bank is focusing on children in Africa, the Caribbean and Latin America it would be an excellent resource for a project on Third World Development.

NNCC Child Development Database
A very comprehensive site of essays, brochures and resource lists on topics ranging from Ages-Stages to Brain Development. Invaluable.

The Child Development Website
Includes a very useful tutorial on classic child development theory including Freud, Erickson and Mahler. It's not flashy but it's thorough.
