Halls |
Halls of residence are blocks of student accommodation, which either provide meals or self-catering facilities. Priority for places in halls is usually given to first year students.

Higher Education
| Study at a university or institute of higher education. Most people studying at this level are aiming for a degree, a Certificate of Higher Education, or a Diploma of Higher Education.

| An Internet page that loads up when you first log on to the Internet, or the main page of a set of related web pages.

Honours
| The (Hons) after your BA or BSc stands for 'with honours'. An Honours degree is of a higher standard than an ordinary or pass degree. Almost all degrees now are awarded with honours. Honours degrees are awarded by a classification system. First Class (1st) - This is the highest level for exceptional performance. Upper Second Class (2.1) - This is the next highest level. Lower Second Class (2.2) - Most honours degrees awarded at this level. Third Class (3rd) - The lowest pass grade.
