The Headstart course is designed to help people into further and higher education.
The audience might be students doing GCSE and 'A' level studies.
The students might be adult 'Return to Learn' or non-traditional students.
They might even be students already engaged in further or higher education who need additional support with their study skills.
The most important consequence of this is that your teaching materials should be carefully written.
You should aim for all these features:
- clear, simple language
- grammatical accuracy
- clear instructions
- a friendly tone
- clear navigation
- firm structure
Keep your audience in mind whilst composing your teaching materials.
Wherever possible, break up the materials into small, easily-digestible chunks.
Now go back to - What should I do now?
